This year’s Procore Groundbreak was one for the books. Held October 15–16 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, Groundbreak 2025 brought together thousands of construction leaders, innovators, and Procore experts for two unforgettable days of learning, connection, and inspiration.
With 150 exhibitors from across the globe, the event served as a powerful reminder of how fast the industry is evolving — and how technology continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Groundbreak isn’t just a conference; it’s a global gathering where the brightest minds in construction come together to share insights, discover new tools, and shape the future of the industry.
Keynotes That Set the Stage
The four keynote sessions this year captured the spirit of transformation driving construction forward.
The opening session featured Procore executives outlining the company’s vision for the future — one powered by both people and AI. It set the tone for a conference focused on connection, innovation, and the opportunities ahead.
One of the most talked-about sessions was “The Four Futures of Construction” presented by futurist Nikolas Badminton. His presentation explored how Design, Decision-Making, Productivity, and the Workforce will evolve in an AI-driven era. He challenged attendees to think boldly about how data and strategic foresight can drive more connected, sustainable, and high-performing outcomes across every jobsite.
Following the keynote, Procore’s Chief People Officer, Inna Landman, hosted a dynamic panel discussion with Badminton and several leading Procore customers. Together, they turned vision into action — sharing how innovation, collaboration, and shared expertise are already reshaping construction on the ground.
And to cap it all off? An exclusive comedy performance by eight-time Grammy-nominated comedian Jim Gaffigan, who brought laughs and levity to close out two days of inspiration.
Learning and Collaboration in Action
Beyond the main stage, Groundbreak offered 53 breakout sessions covering a wide range of topics — from sustainability and leadership to data management, workforce development, and AI implementation.
These sessions were more than presentations; they were hands-on conversations about how technology is transforming daily operations, team collaboration, and project outcomes. Attendees left with actionable takeaways and new perspectives — a clear reflection of Groundbreak’s mission to unite people, process, and platform into a smarter way of building.
The inBuild Booth Experience
The inBuild team was proud to be part of the Financial Section at Booth 714, alongside our knowledgeable neighbors Avicado — whose experts help companies maximize their Procore investment — and Unanet, whose CRM platform supports over 4,000 construction firms in managing client relationships and opportunities.
At the show, we officially unveiled inBuild Pro — our AI-powered financial inbox built exclusively for Procore users. Attendees could experience it firsthand through in-depth demos, seeing how invoices are automatically extracted from email, accurately assigned to projects, vendors, and commitments, and seamlessly delivered to Procore and QuickBooks for review and approval.
For the first time ever, users could sign up and get started right on the show floor — no multi-step onboarding required. The setup was instant, the interface intuitive, and the AI? Faster and smarter than ever. We processed real invoices live at the booth, showing documents being cost coded to existing commitments in real time.

To add a bit of fun, we handed out 12 unique construction-themed stickers, each with its own personality. The clear fan favorite? “0 Days Without a Change Order.” We also participated in Procore’s Site Quest, where attendees could scan their badges at our booth for a chance to win Procore swag and other prizes.
The energy was electric — from meaningful conversations about back-office automation to lighthearted laughs about sticker collecting, the inBuild booth was buzzing from start to finish.
